Manila, Philippines-Facebook launched a new tool within its social media site that lets you add a rainbow filter to your profile pic in celebration of the recent U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that same-sex marriage is now legal across the United States.
All you have to do is visit this link, www.facebook.com/celebratepride, the tool will show a preview of your profile pic with a rainbow filter. You then have the option set this as your of profile picture.
Apparently not everyone is happy with the recent trend, Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC), an international Christian denomination religion that originated in the Philippines is against this campaign and told the members of their religion that they are not supporting the new ruling thus prohibiting them the change their profile pictures to that with a rainbow filter.
According to INC they do not support this ruling because they said that it is not written in the Bible and against their beliefs but on a brighter note they also told their members that they respect the LGBT Community.
