Manila, Philippines - Former child star and award-winning actor Jiro Manio has been reunited with his family after being reported wandering around at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 area asking for food and clothes.
According to Inquirer, Jiro Manio has been spotted roaming around at the NAIA airport for days.
The 23-year-old former child star stayed in the departure area where fast-food and stalls are located, hoping for leftovers.
It was said that Jiro arrived at the airport with scratches and bruises in his body. Airport employees chipped-in to help the actor giving food, clothes and other basic necessities.
Recent report said that Manio has been taken into custody by airport police and will be picked up by his relatives tonight.
In 2004, Manio won the FAMAS award for best child actor for his role in Magnifico. He also won the best actor awards at the Gawad Urian and Film Academy of the Philippines for the same film.
