MANILA - “Woooooh! Rock and Roll to the World!” O'Right! With these iconic words, stand up comic Ryan Rems Sarita wins It's Showtime's The Funny One Segment.
Ryan Rems Sarita or popularly known as 'Ryan Rems' cemented his place in the comedy scene as he was crowned the winner of It's Showtime's Funny One, Saturday 8 of August. He defeated fellow Komikero's Crazy Duo, Gibis Alejandrino, Nonong Ballinan and No Direction.
Ryan, who didn't even pass the preliminary rounds of the competition impressively marched on to the Finale by going through the wildcard rounds. During an interview Ryan told reporters that he didn't even thought of once that he would reach the Finale and said that he would get eliminated within the first preliminary rounds of the competition.
He also told reporters that he thought that no one would understand his witty lines and jokes because it's far different from the ones we normally hear and see on TV. Luckily everyone got hooked and soon Ryan became an Internet sensation and a trending topic amongst conversations at schools, offices, terminals and etc.
Ryan's signature 'Sweet Child of Mine' guitar riff entrance, witty and on point delivery of lines made its mark on everyone's hearts. So thank you Ryan Rems Sarita for bringing us a new brand of Comedy you are truly one of a kind.
