News about the real-life 'Beauty and the Beast" love story in Indonesia went viral online.
According to the socialtrendsph, the couple's love story began last January when Jennifer Brocklehurst, a British national went to visit Sumatra, Indonesia and met Bayu Kumabara, who was an Anthropology student from Andalas University.
Interestingly the couple fell in love each other and soon enough a wedding was planned. When Jennifer went online to ask for some donations to fund their upcoming wedding, netizens got amazed after finding out that Jennifer was engaged with the Indonesian, Bayu thus garnering plenty of attention from the media.
Malaysian Digest reported that Jennifer appealed for a donation through the site tilt.com to hep gather funds for their upcoming wedding. So she tried to put up 2,500 pounds(175,000 PHP) for the ceremony and plane tickets of her parents to attend the most important day of her life.
Sadly enough she reportedly only managed to raise a thousand pounds but on the brighter side of things it didn't stop her from marrying her one true love.
The couple finally exchange their vows last August 8, 2015 proving that love has no boundaries as long as the love is genuine and real. The marriage received so much attention that it trended on social media sites because of the fact that it breaks the common stereotypes we usually see on mainstream media.
