ANGELES CITY, Philippines-- The grieving family of Florencio 'Renz' Sanciangco turned to social media to bring justice to the untimely death of Sanciangco who was allegedly killed by a barangay kagawad named as Kgwd. Sony Saratan.

The 16-year old victim was allegedly caught and beaten up by Saratan who accused Sanciangco of stealing a cellphone based on vague accusations. He was picked up and temporarily detained on the barangay hall of Sta. Natividad.

The family found out about the incident through an informant who refused to be identified for security purposes. She claimed that she witnessed Sanciangco being beaten up by Saratan. Fearing that the kagawad would do something if she approach the victim, she then turned to Sanciangco's mother to report the incident.

According to a Facebook post by Luzviminda San Juan, after being brought to the barangay hall, the victim was then transferred to the Police Station 2 at 2 PM. Reports claim that Sanciangco was already physically beaten by the time he was brought to the precint.

Upon arriving at Precint 2, the chief denied that they know the whereabouts of Sanciangco. The said chief was also reportedly heard saying:

"Lumayas kayo dito! Wala kayong magagawa dito." (Go away! You have no business here!)

It was not until 9PM when the family was shocked with the news that Sanciangco is dead. They were informed that his body was already in the morgue. This horrifying news was also backed up with several witnesses who claimed that they overheard Saratan and other police officer plotting to kill the victim in Precint 2.

Aside from this, Saratan allegedly send the family text messages threatening to put their lives in danger if they ever spill the incident.
