Manila Philippines - Hours after the 8th Annual Star Magic Ball concluded Kapamilya Actor and Showtime host Billy Joe Crawford got arrested and detained following a row at a police precinct at the Bonifacio Global City early Sunday September 7, 2014.
Sunday's incident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. at Police Community Precinct 7, according to a report on GMA News TV's "News TV Live."
An initial investigation showed Crawford was with a woman and asked for assistance.
But when told he would be brought to police headquarters, he allegedly punched the desk officer for no apparent reason.
He also punched and damaged the glass door of the precinct, prompting police to arrest him.
Crawford was brought briefly to a nearby hospital for an examination.
Police said he may face charges of malicious mischief.
Coleen Garcia visited her boyfriend and Showtime co-host Billy Crawford noontime of September 8, 2014 and later on went home together after Billy posted for bail at 6:00 pm.
Coleen was with her mother when she visited Mr. Crawford.
