"Kabataan Ang Pag-Asa Ng Bayan", those where the famous lines from our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal but this student from Mapúa Institute of Technology in Intramuros puts Jose Rizal to shame as he was reportedly got kicked out after he used a fake facebook account of his professor to cancel a class.

In the screenshots that was shared by John Paul Manlulu, Gena Aquino, a professor at MAPUA posted her dismay regarding the poser that announced that her 7:30 morning class was cancelled. The false announcement resulted as only a third of her class showed up that morning. After which she vowed to find the culprit of such act.

Being true to her vow and with the help of Mapúa’s Department of Information and Technology, Within a day, Aquino found out whose behind the fraud Facebook account. Not surprisingly the suspect was one of her own students in her Humanities subject. Aquino posted the email sent to her by the said department as proof that the culprit has been traced.

“Sabi ko naman sa’yo, mahuhuli rin kita.", Aquino uttered.

The suspect was a First year student and is reportedly just a minor. Everyone was expecting her to give a student a failing grade which is 5 but Aquino quickly slammed the door shut and said the student should be kicked out of school and which eventually happened.

It’s a shame how students nowadays resort to such tactics just to get out of classes instead of using their wit and knowledge to help their grades up.  Mapúa is known as one of the top performing universities when it comes in information technology and other computer-related courses.
