CAVITE- There's a controversial photo floating around popular social media sites regarding a certain memo that requires 3rd and 4th students of Cavite State University to attend Vice President Jejomar Binay ‘True’ State of the Nation Address (TSONA).

The photo was posted by presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda on the micro-blogging site Twitter last Monday . Lacierda quoted:

“Pres. Divinia Chavez of Cavite State University should perhaps explain why students were required 2 attend VP’s TSONA,”

The memo was posted last July 30, 2015 and was signed by its school president.
“The Central Student Government (CSG) will be sponsoring a STUDENT ASSEMBLY on Aug. 3, 2015, 4:00 pm at the University Gymnasium. All 3rd and 4th year students are required to attend the said activity. Kindly excuse from their classes those who will participate in the said event. Attendance shall be checked by CSG officers. For compliance.”

The Palace probe the Commission on Higher Education to look into a school memo requiring students of CSU to attend VP Binay’s TSONA.
